Defining Success
Nolan Matthias, his books, and his companies derive their traits from one simple questions - What is your definition of success? By defining what success means to each of us, we are able to create a path to our destiny and then follow that path throughout our lives. By doing so we are able to keep on track and constantly moving toward our desired level of success.
What We Do
We are all about the development of the individual. By helping others achive their goals, we are achieving ours. Through our books, speaking engagements, and coaching, our clients gain the clarity to move towards their next level of success.
Bio
Nolan Matthias is a speaker, coach, and author of the soon to be released book Golf Balls Don’t Float - 72 Life and Business Lessons From the Golf Course; a self-help / business book that uses golf as a means of simplifying the life and business practices that contribute to a persons success.
A former competitive jr. golfer, Nolan found himself injured at the young age of 16 and subsequently unable to compete in what was likely to be a very successful college and professional golf career. As a result Nolan used this unforeseen alteration in life direction to mold the success techniques he had used to become one of Canada’s most skilled players, into a series of opportunities that would develop his reputation as one of the “most solid young business professionals” in his industry. During this time he established a highly successful career in the finance industry where he earned notoriety as a business acquisition specialist.
His reputation has earned him the honor of being a trusted advisor to CEO’s, Executive Vice Presidents, and leading industry professionals who in many cases have much more experience in their fields, yet look to Nolan for fresh and innovative advice. His knowledge of business is recognized as being superior to that of many who are 25+ years his senior.
His ability to increase sales within a company in a short period of time is a trait that Nolan attributes solely to what he calls being, a “student of success.” He believes that success does in fact leave clues, and a company or person’s ability to succeed is dependent on little more than one’s dedication to accomplishing their goals.
His contributions to the Calgary Herald’s Q: Blog - Where young Calgarians discuss what matters to them has put Nolan on the map as one of Calgary’s top young thinkers. His articles inspire, enlighten, and motivate those who read them. He is frequently published in the pages of the Calgary Herald.
Nolan believes that a person must define exactly what success means to them and then create a path to attain that goal. With a simple plan and the drive to follow through, anyone can have what they want out of life.
