Why Apple is so Successful
Well, after a couple of days using a Mac for the first time ever, it seems to be quite easy to understand why Apple is destined to be so successful in the computer market.
So far it has been an extremely frustrating experience, not much of anything that I am used to on a pc works easily on a Mac. Try connecting to a printer hosted on a windows xp machine and you will know what I mean. Yet, when I need help there is always someone readily available on the other end of a phone line. Further more, if they can’t help you, they know where to direct you to find the information your looking for.
Not to mention, there is a seemingly endless number of Mac users who are more than willing to share info. It seems that owning a Mac is more than about just owning a computer, it is about being part of a culture. There really is a distinction to be made between those wh use a Mac and those who hammer away at a pc.
ps. I’m no necessarily convinced that one can survive using solely the Mac OS, but there is a huge benefit to being able to run the windows operating system on an apple computer, you get the best of both worlds.
